Pop Off Pod (POP)! NBA Finals, NCAA Regionals, Ross Bjork leaves, & Chernobyl

Bash Brothers Media brings you a new in-house podcast on the important stories happening now in Mississippi and across the nation.

With EP Jon Wiener and “Iso” Joe Simeone

This week we Pop Off on the Toronto Raptors and explain why we think they have a chance to make this an interesting NBA Finals. Mississippi State and Ole Miss both secured No. 1 seeds and will be hosting for regionals this weekend. Southern Miss comes in at a No. 3 seed and will have to travel to Baton Rouge for their regionals matchups. We dive into each team will need to do in order to survive regionals and move on to super regionals in their quest to make the College World Series.

Ole Miss athletic director Ross Bjork has accepted a job as the Athletic Director at Texas A&M. We describe the legacy he should be remembered for and what he has done for the Ole Miss athletics program. Last we talk some NFL with OTA’s and Mini-camp around the corner. What can we take away from these practices and what do they mean for rookies coming into the NFL?

Last Iso Joe gives us his recommendation for a new show to watch. Chernobyl. The story of the catastrophic failure of a Nuclear Power plant in the USSR. Iso says it is a much watch and tells you why.
