State has some tough games coming up with Auburn, Tennessee, and Texas A&M left on their schedule as they look to improve their tournament resume with some big wins. We also discuss where Quinndary Weatherspoon ranks in terms of guards in Mississippi State basketball history. Would State be making the push that they are without his great play this season?
Dave Sanders joins in on the show to talk about high school basketball with the MHSAA playoffs here. Sander is confident in his team and its players. He believes that when Daeshun Ruffin is hitting his shots no one can stop. They will need Ruffin to be shooting well again this week against Olive Branch. The Chargers will be taking on the visiting Conquistadors tonight February 28th.
CBS Sports and NCAA bracket expert Jerry Palm also joins the show as we discuss with him where Ole Miss and Mississippi State rank in terms of the NCAA tournament.
The show comes to a close with some talk about the NFL Combine with our very own Insider Joe. He tells you who and what to look for coming up on March 1st. Insider Joe looks to bounce back in this week’s local lines and lead locks after only hitting on one of his locks last week missing both NBA picks. He feels good about this weeks picks going with the Pacers ML against the Timberwolves and picking Golden State -4.0 against the Magic.
