When you’re chasing a championship, you gotta add the right pieces to the team. Introducing our new guy Joe Simeone, a.k.a. ‘Insider Joe’
We are excited to welcome and introduce Joe Simeone, a.k.a. ‘Insider Joe’” as a full-time addition to the BBM team. Simeone hails from Kings Park, New York and comes to Jackson as a fast-rising prospect in sports media. He graduated with a degree in sports communications from Marist College, where he was the center of the sports broadcasting and television programs. In his downtime, Simeone excelled as a communications and multimedia intern with the Major League Baseball Draft, The Los Angeles Clippers and Marist College Athletics.
He recently completed Season Two of his acclaimed We R Colts podcast, which will be available on SB Nation platforms for its third season in the coming weeks. (Joe grew up on Long Island as a diehard Indianapolis Colts fan. Don’t ask.) Joe brings a wealth of knowledge of all sports, but his passion and demonstrated expertise is everything NFL.
Be on the lookout for Joe’s upcoming content series on Mississippi guys in the NFL Combine, on-site coverage of the NFL Draft in Nashville in April, and lots more original “Insider Joe” content. You can also hear him with Jon on The Jon Wiener Show on Monday nights on ESPN 105.9 FM The Zone (thezone1059.com), and the soon-to-be-released Mississippi Sports Lounge hosted by Waterview Sports Book and Casino.
Not just a key contributor, Joe takes over as BBM’s digital editor and associate producer to help create the many exciting productions in store this year.
