From August 2013 – April 2016, Jon hosted a daily sports talk show (4-6 pm) on the ESPN Radio affiliate in Jackson, Miss: “Home Cookin’” — the source for Mississippi sports talk. “Home Cookin’’’ became one of the state’s most popular talk shows, highlighted by the “Home Cookin’ High School Tailgate Show,” a live on-site show from the big high school football game each Friday. As creator, writer, producer and host of Home Cookin’, Jon served up a daily tour-de-force in Mississippi sports talk.
